This is the second of the Polaris World golf resorts in the region of Murcia, featuring an 18 hole par 68 Jack Nicklaus designed signature course providing a lush green setting to this world class resort. The style of this course is similar to a Florida golf course, making extensive use of lakes and lush green fairways.
The resort features over 2000 homes, including villas and apartments, and has many more facilities available for guests.
The resort has a lovely relaxed feel to it. It has been well designed so that traffic stays away from the properties making the streets and cul de sacs quiet and safe for children. There are a number of areas set out for children to play in with swing and slides or just areas of palm trees or fountains in landscaped gardens.
The centre of Murcia, capital of the province, is 30 minutes away and the ancient Roman and historic port of Cartagena is even closer. Los Alcazares is a great town to visit. It has a long sandy beach which is on the shallow and safe waters of the Mar Menor. The beach has a wide promenade which runs along its entire length and has numerous beach bars and restaurants.
The town itself has numerous large supermarkets, there are quiet plazas to enjoy a coffee or sit out and enjoy a dinner in the evening. There are some lovely Spanish restaurants and tapas bars.
