CAIXA BANK AXE MORTGAGE FEES

Caixa Bank have announced today (12 November 2018) ZERO mortgage fees for purchasers.

They have axed

Valuation fees
Mortgage Arrangement Fees
Land Registry and Notary Fees (for the mortgage only)
Stamp Duty on the Mortgage
These fees will now be absorbed by the bank.

Caixa New Mortgages offer

80% Loan to Value for Residents, for their main home

70% Loan to Value for Non-Residents

Interest Rate Fixed for 25 years (Residents) or 20 years (Non-Residents) at 3.95%.

The interest rate can be reduced by up to 1.2% by taking up Caixa products such as Home and Life Insurance and paying utility bills from the account.

Caixa can now give their clients pre-approval within 48 hours of returning the Mortgage application form and an English speaking point of contact at Hola Bank.

This bold move could save 3.000euros on a 50.000euro mortgage in the arrangement and set up costs of the mortgage.
