Los Alcazares ideal holiday destination

Los Alcázares is a tourist area with continuous growth.  There is an increase in the choices of accommodation with almost 4,000 hotel rooms across the town in different types and categories of establishments, which puts the town as an ideal year round destination.

Added to the range and styles of hotel accommodation on offer, is the deep rooted sun and beach tourism.  In addition the town has a history of being a cultural and gastronomic destination, together with health tourism.  There has been an appreciable improvement of infrastructures and services, golf packages and water sport holidays.   

The increase in the variety of accommodation on offer in Los Alcazares, with new hotels and apartments mirrors a growing trend.  It will be important to now increase the number of large commercial areas and the construction of new housing.

Hotel Encarnacion is the oldest and most emblematic building of Los Alcázares, dates from 1904 and was the first hotel accommodation to be opened on the Mar Menor.
